May the purifying Soma streams bring to the giver all treasures—heavenly and earthly—coming from the mid-region.
When Soma (delight-inspiration) is purified, it becomes a mediator (āntarikṣya) between higher mind (divya) and embodied life (pārthiva). To the dāśuṣ (the one who offers—i.e., who gives ego and desire into the inner sacrifice), Soma brings ‘all riches’: illuminations from above and stable powers for life below.
Sincere offering aligns the whole being; then the refined joy of consciousness draws down higher gifts and organizes them into practical strength and harmony in life.
Boons as inner attainments, Three-world cosmology (psychologized), Soma as mediator
A ninth-maṇḍala transmission emphasizing Soma’s purification as the means of bringing divine ‘vasu’ into the human offering.
The collective rishi-vision frames sacrifice as inner exchange: offering (dāśuṣ) opens the being to a complete influx—heavenly light and earthly stability united by the mid-region’s transformative movement.
Bearer of treasures; mediator between dyu (heaven) and pṛthivī (earth) through antarikṣa.
Translational force: turns illumination into workable energy; turns life’s substance into receptive clarity.
Soma-yajña: invocation for boons during purification/offerings

4 × ~11 syllables
Balanced, distributive rhythm (heaven/earth) with a concluding ‘arrival’ cadence
Feels like invocation and descent: a bringing-in of powers; stabilizes and ‘grounds’ the listener.
Blessing formula within Soma purification: bestowal of ‘all treasures’ to the sacrificer.
During Soma flow and offerings to deities (esp. Indra)
Recited/sung to invite Soma’s ‘vasu’ to the sacrificer
As a contemplation for integrality: ‘May purified delight bring both higher insight and practical steadiness’—use before work or service.
dāśuṣe from √dāś ‘to worship/offer’ → the one who offers; vasu ‘good, wealth’ (also class of deities Vasus) from √vas ‘to dwell/shine?’ (etymologies debated) → stable riches; antarikṣa ‘between’ (antar) + ‘domain’ (ikṣa/īkṣ?) traditional: midspace.
Integration of planes (divya/pārthiva via antarikṣa), Sacrifice/Offering (dāśuṣ), Vasu as inner riches
Implicit: true riches arrive when the flow is purified—aligned with ṛta.
Divine gifts are stable when they bridge heaven and earth without distortion.
Integration of planes: descent of the divine into the earthly instrument.
Integral-Vedic: harmonizing higher consciousness with embodied life.
Antarikṣa corresponds to the vital-mental field where inspirations become energies, habits, and actions; Soma’s flow is the refining current enabling this translation.
Receive Soma as a descending, mediating joy: draw light into mind, then settle it into heart and body as steady force.
Ajna (divyāni) grounding into Muladhara/Manipura (pārthivā) through heart-breath
Inhale: ‘divyāni’; exhale: ‘pārthivā’—feel a middle channel (antarikṣa) equalizing
Integrated poise; luminous practicality
Offer one habitual ego-motive (dāśuṣ); then invite a concrete ‘vasu’ (clarity, patience, strength) to embody the received light.
Follow udātta markings in the Saṃhitā text; maintain clear accent on té, víśvā, dāśúṣe, sómā, divyā́ni, pārthívā.
Keep pāda breaks clean; slightly lengthen long vowels (ā, ī) without singing.
dāśuṣe: retroflex ṣ clearly, divyāni: ‘vy’ glide light, not split, pārthivā: pronounce ṛ as vocalic, not ‘ri’, āntarikṣyā: kṣy cluster: kṣ + ya, articulated crisply
Invocatory, warm, steady; end with a sense of ‘bringing near’ (ā)
