Sukta 7.86
पृच्छे तदेनो वरुण दिदृक्षूपो एमि चिकितुषो विपृच्छम् । समानमिन्मे कवयश्चिदाहुरयं ह तुभ्यं वरुणो हृणीते ॥
pṛ́cche tád éno váruṇa didṛ́kṣū́po émi cikítuṣo ví-pṛccham | samānám ín me kaváyaś cid āhur ayáṃ ha túbhyaṃ váruṇo hṛṇīte ||
ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຖາມກ່ຽວກັບຄວາມຜິດພາດນັ້ນ, ພະວະຣຸນ, ປາຖະໜາທີ່ຈະເຫັນມັນຢ່າງຊັດເຈນ; ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າເຂົ້າໃກ້ເພື່ອຖາມຜູ້ທີ່ຮູ້. ແມ່ນແຕ່ບັນດານັກປາດຕະກໍ່ບອກຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຄືກັນວ່າ: 'ພະວະຣຸນນີ້ແທ້ຈິງແລ້ວທີ່ບໍ່ພໍໃຈທ່ານ' ຄືກັບວ່າກົດໝາຍພາຍໃນໄດ້ຫັນໜ້າຫນີຈາກສະພາບປັດຈຸບັນຂອງຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ.
