इन्द्रासोमा महि तद्वां महित्वं युवं महानि प्रथमानि चक्रथुः । युवं सूर्यं विविदथुर्युवं स्वर्विश्वा तमांस्यहतं निदश्च ॥
indrā́somā mahí tád vāṃ mahitváṃ yuváṃ mahā́ni prathamā́ni cakrathuḥ | yuváṃ sū́ryaṃ vividáthur yuváṃ svàr viśvā́ tamā́ṃsy ahataṃ nidáś ca ||
O Indra and Soma, great is that greatness of yours: you two fashioned the first mighty workings. You discovered the Sun and the Swar; you struck down all darknesses and the hostile cry within us.
