बृहत्सुम्नः प्रसवीता निवेशनो जगतः स्थातुरुभयस्य यो वशी । स नो देवः सविता शर्म यच्छत्वस्मे क्षयाय त्रिवरूथमंहसः ॥
br̥hát-sumnaḥ pra-savītā́ ni-veśano jágataḥ sthātúr ubháyasya yó vaśī́ | sá no deváḥ savitā́ śárma yacchatv asmè kṣáyāya tri-varū́tham áṃhasaḥ ||
Savitṛ of vast felicity, the impeller and establisher, master of both the moving and the still: may that god grant us peace and a dwelling in being—triple-guarded—safe from distress and wrong.
