तद्देवस्य सवितुर्वार्यं महद्वृणीमहे असुरस्य प्रचेतसः । छर्दिर्येन दाशुषे यच्छति त्मना तन्नो महाँ उदयान्देवो अक्तुभिः ॥
tád devásya savitúr vā́ryam mahád vr̥ṇīmahe ásurasya prácetasaḥ | chardír yéna dāśúṣe yácchati tmánā tán no mahā́n úd ayān devó aktúbhiḥ ||
ຄວາມຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່ອັນສູງສົ່ງແລະເປັນທີ່ປາຖະເຫນົານັ້ນຂອງສະວິຕາ, ພະຜູ້ເປັນເຈົ້າຂອງນ້ອມໃຈອັນສະຫວ່າງແລະປັນຍາອັນກວ້າງຂວາງ, ພວກເຮົາເລືອກ: ບ່ອນພັກຜ່ອນອັນປົກປ້ອງໂດຍທີ່ພະອົງ, ດ້ວຍພະລັງຂອງພະອົງເອງ, ປະທານໃຫ້ແກ່ຜູ້ປະທານ. ຂໍໃຫ້ພະເຈົ້າຜູ້ຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່ນັ້ນລຸກຂຶ້ນເພື່ອພວກເຮົາດ້ວຍແສງສະຫວ່າງທີ່ກ້າວໜ້າຂອງພະອົງ, ປຸກຈິດວິນຍານຂອງພວກເຮົາ.
