Sukta 2.27
माहं मघोनो वरुण प्रियस्य भूरिदाव्न आ विदं शूनमापेः । मा रायो राजन्त्सुयमादव स्थां बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
mā́haṃ maghóno varuṇa priyásya bhūrídā́vna ā́ vidam śū́nam āpéḥ | mā́ rāyó rājan suyámād áva sthāṃ bṛhád vadema vidáthe suvī́rāḥ ||
ຮາວະຣຸນ, ຂໍອີ່ມຂ້ານະບໍ່ຕົກຫ່າງຈາກຄວາມເມດຕາທີ່ເປັນທີ່ຮັກຂອງຜູ້ປະທານທີ່ໃຈບຸນ; ຂໍອີ່ມຂ້ານະໄດ້ຮັບຄວາມສຸກອັນກວ້າງຂວາງທີ່ມາຈາກນ້ຳທີ່ໄຫຼໄປ. ຮາວະຈັກກະສັດ, ຂໍຢ່າໃຫ້ຄວາມອຸດົມທາງວິນຍານຫຼຸບລົງຈາກການນຳພາທີ່ດີ. ຂໍໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາເວົ້າຄວາມອັນປວ້າງໃຫຍ່ໃນທີ່ຊຸມນຸມ, ເປັນຜູ້ມີພະລັງວິນຍານອັນ�ພົບຜົນ.
