Sukta 8.21
चित्र इद्राजा राजका इदन्यके यके सरस्वतीमनु । पर्जन्य इव ततनद्धि वृष्ट्या सहस्रमयुता ददत् ॥
citró id rājā́ rājakā́ id anyaké yaké sárasvatīm ánu | parjányā iva tátanad dhí vṛṣṭyā́ sahásram ayútā dádāt ||
Wunderbar ist wahrlich der König, und wunderbar die kleineren Könige — jene anderen, die Sarasvatī nachfolgen. Denn wie Parjanya hat er sich mit Regen ausgespannt; er gibt das Tausend, das Zehntausend: überströmende Füllen.
