Varāha (default narrative frame) / narrator-voice within the Varāha Purāṇa
It reflects a common Purāṇic narrative motif: a household situation (here, childlessness and marital duty) becomes the setting for a sage’s visit, often serving as a catalyst for ethical instruction or a turning point in the story.
No specific geographic site is named in this verse; the setting is described generically as a gṛha (household/home).
The verse foregrounds steadiness in conduct—depicting the woman as sādhvī and devoted to pati-dharma—presented as an idealized ethical posture within the narrative framework.
