The Greatness of Stutasvāmi: Varāha’s Disclosure of the Bhūtagiri Sacred Landscape and Its Ethical Discipline
ūrdhvaṁ vā yadi vā 'dho vā ye kurvanti mamārcanam || tathāpi māṁ saṁspṛśanti śiromadhye tu sundarī
Varāha (default instructor voice in Varāha–Pṛthivī dialogue framework)
It offers a compact ritual note about bodily orientation and contact during worship, useful for reconstructing local practice traditions associated with a specific sacred site.
The verse itself does not name the site; it continues the prior Bhūta-giri context.
The emphasis is ritual rather than ethical: it highlights that worship, regardless of orientation, results in a defined form of contact/connection.
