यत्पुरुषेणेत्यनया सृष्टियज्ञः समीरितः । सप्तास्यासन्परिधयः समिधश्च समीरिताः ॥

IAST Transliteration

yat-puruṣeṇeti anayā sṛṣṭi-yajñaḥ samīritaḥ | saptāsyāsan paridhayaḥ samidhaś ca samīritāḥ ||

Translation

بالتعويذة الرِّغفيدية التي تبتدئ بـ «yat puruṣeṇa…» يُعلَن أنَّ يَجْنَ الخَلْق هو عينُ الإيجاد؛ وبه أيضًا تُذكَر السبعُ مُحيطاتِ القُربان (الباريدهيات) وأخشابُ الإيقاد (السَّمِدْه).

Academic Translation

By the (Ṛgvedic) formula beginning “yat puruṣeṇa…”, the sacrifice that is creation is declared; and by it the seven enclosing-sticks (paridhi-s) and the fuel-sticks (samidh-s) are also stated.
