वीतिहोत्रा कृतद्वसू दशस्यन्तामृताय कम् । समूधो रोमशं हतो देवेषु कृणुतो दुवः ॥
Transliteration
vīti-hótrā kṛtádvasū daśasyántā amṛtā́ya kám | sám ū́dhaḥ romaśáṃ ható devéṣu kṛṇuto dúvaḥ ||
Translation
يا مَن قُودَتْ حركاتُ القُربانِ (الهوترا) لديكما قيادةً حسنة، ويا مَن صيغتْ ثرواتُكما صوغًا محكمًا؛ عابِدَينِ للبهجةِ التي تهدي إلى الخلود—إذ رتّبتما الضرعَ المُثمرَ وأسقطتما العائقَ الخشنَ المُشعِر، فأقيمَا الخدمةَ النافذةَ بين الآلهة.
