दधामि ते मधुनो भक्षमग्रे हितस्ते भागः सुतो अस्तु सोमः । असश्च त्वं दक्षिणतः सखा मेऽधा वृत्राणि जङ्घनाव भूरि ॥

dadhā́mi te mádhuno bhakṣám ágre hitás te bhāgáḥ sutó astu sómaḥ | asáś ca tváṃ dakṣiṇatáḥ sakhā́ me 'dhā vṛtrā́ṇi jaṅghanāva bhū́ri ||

أضعُ بين يديكَ غذاءً مُعسَّلاً؛ قد وُضِعَ نصيبُكَ—فليُعصَرِ السُّوما (Soma). وأنتَ، جالسًا عن اليمين رفيقًا لي، فحينئذٍ لِنَدُسْ كثيرًا من العوائق.
