Sukta 6.17
एवा पाहि प्रत्नथा मन्दतु त्वा श्रुधि ब्रह्म वावृधस्वोत गीर्भिः । आविः सूर्यं कृणुहि पीपिहीषो जहि शत्रूँरभि गा इन्द्र तृन्धि ॥
evā́ pāhi pratná-thā mándatu tvā śrudhí bráhma vāvṛdhasvóta gī́rbhiḥ | āvíḥ sū́ryaṃ kṛṇuhí pīpihī́ṣo jahí śátrūn abhí gā́ indra tṛndhi ||
هكذا احفظْه واقبله كما في القِدَم؛ لِيُسِرَّكَ—أصغِ إلى المانترا وازددْ نماءً بترانيمنا. أظهِرْ سُوريا (الشمس) جليًّا؛ ومع امتلائك بالسُّوما اضربِ الأعداء؛ وادفعِ الأشعّة/الأبقار إلينا، يا إندرا.
