Sukta 1.93
यो अग्नीषोमा हविषा सपर्याद्देवद्रीचा मनसा यो घृतेन । तस्य व्रतं रक्षतं पातमंहसो विशे जनाय महि शर्म यच्छतम् ॥
yó agnī́ṣomā havíṣā saparyā́d devadrī́cā mánasā yó ghṛténa | tásya vratáṃ rakṣataṃ pātám aṃháso viśé jánāya máhi śárma yacchatam ||
يا أغني وسوما، من يخدمكما بالقرابين، وبعقلٍ متوجّهٍ إلى الآلهة، وبالسمن المصفّى (غِرتا/ghṛta)—فاحفظا له فَرْضَه/نَذْرَه (vrata) وصوناه من السقوط في الظلمة؛ وامنحا للشعب، للإنسان، مَلاذًا عظيمًا (śarman).
