वनेषु जायुर्मर्तेषु मित्रो वृणीते श्रुष्टिं राजेवाजुर्यम् ॥

váneṣu jāyúr márteṣu mitró vṛṇī́te śrúṣṭiṃ rājéva ajúryam

في الغابات هو النارُ السريعةُ الميلاد؛ وبين البشر الفانين يصير مِترا، الصديق: يختار الطاعةَ وحُسنَ السمعِ الحقّ، كما يختار الملكُ سندًا لا يَخون.
