चित्रकूटवर्णनम् (Description of Chitrakūṭa) / Rama Shows Sita Chitrakuta
आम्रजम्ब्वसनैर्लोध्रैः प्रियालैः पनसैर्धवैः।अङ्कोलैर्भव्यतिनिशैर्बिल्वतिन्दुक वेणुभिः।।।।काश्मर्यरिष्टवरुणैर्मधूकैस्तिलकैस्तथा।बदर्यामलकैर्नीपैर्वेत्रधन्वनबीजकैः।।।।पुष्पवद्भिः फलोपेतैश्छायावद्भिर्मनोरमैः।एवमादिभिराकीर्णः श्रियं पुष्यत्ययं गिरिः।।।।
āmrajambv-asanaiḥ lodhraiḥ priyālaiḥ panasair dhavaiḥ |
aṅkolair bhavyatiniśair bilvatinduka-veṇubhiḥ ||
kāśmaryariṣṭavaruṇair madhūkaiś tilakais tathā |
badaryāmalakair nīpair vetradhanvana-bījakaiḥ ||
puṣpavadbhiḥ phalopetaiś chāyāvadbhir manoramaiḥ |
evamādibhir ākīrṇaḥ śriyaṃ puṣyaty ayaṃ giriḥ ||
يمتلئ هذا الجبل بأشجارٍ بهيّةٍ ظليلة، مزهرةٍ مثمرة: كالمَنْجَا، والجامبو، والآسَنَا، واللودْهْرَا، والبِرْيَالَا، والجاك فروت، والدَّهافا، والأَنْكولا، والتِّنيشا، والبِلفا، والتِّندُكا، والخيزران، والكاشْمَرْيَا، والأَرِشْطَا، والفَرُونَا، والمَدْهوكا، والتِّلاكا، والبَدَرِي، والآمَلاكا، والنِّيبَا، والقصب، والدَّهنَفَنا، والرُّمّان. وهكذا، إذ يكتسي بها، يزداد الجبل بهاءً وازدهارًا.
This mount Chitrakuta is swarmed by flocks of birds and herds of several kinds of animals like tigers, panthers and bears of every kind giving up their cruel nature.
