अमोघं बत मे क्षान्तं पुरुषे पुष्करेक्षणे।
येयमिक्ष्वाकुराज्यश्रीः पुत्र त्वां संश्रयिष्यति।।2.4.41।।
amoghaṃ bata me kṣāntaṃ puruṣe puṣkarekṣaṇe | yeyam ikṣvāku-rājya-śrīḥ putra tvāṃ saṃśrayiṣyati || 2.4.41 ||
«آه يا بُنيّ، ما كانت صبرِي واحتمالي في العبادة والتقوى للربّ ذي العينين كاللوتس عبثًا؛ فمجدُ مُلكِ سلالة إكشواكو سيستقرّ عليك.»
