Rāma Summoned; Pushya Coronation Decision
tasmin kāle hi kauśalyā tasthāv āmīlitekṣaṇā | sumitrayā ’nvāsyamānā sītayā lakṣmaṇena ca || 2.4.32 ||
At that moment Kausalya was meditating with her eyes half-closed. Sumitra, Lakshmana and Sita were attending on her.
Dharma as inner discipline: spiritual composure and reverent attendance support righteous action and truthful intention before major life duties.
Kauśalyā is in meditative prayer, with Sumitrā, Sītā, and Lakṣmaṇa respectfully present.
Kauśalyā’s serenity and devotion; the others’ service-minded respect (seva) and attentiveness.
