Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest
एवं बहुविधं तं सा याचते गमनं प्रति।नानुमेने महाबाहुस्तां नेतुं विजनं वनम्।।।।
evaṃ bahuvidhaṃ taṃ sā yācate gamanaṃ prati | nānumene mahābāhus tāṃ netuṃ vijanaṃ vanam ||
ورغم أنها توسلت إليه بشتى الطرق للذهاب، إلا أن صاحب الذراعين القويتين لم يوافق على أخذها إلى الغابة الموحشة.
Thus spoken to (prevented), Sita was filled with grief and cried, drenching the ground with warm tears that fell from her eyes.
