هذا النشيد الباوستيكا القصير تعويذةٌ منزليةٌ للرخاء ترفع فارْكَس (البهاء، الإشعاع الاجتماعي) للمرء وتكفل زيادة الثروة، والسيادة بين الأقران، وكثرة الذرية. أغني، المُغذّى بالسمن المصفّى، هو القوةُ الرئيسةُ الرافعَة؛ وإندرا يمنح السؤدد وطول العمر؛ وسوما وبراهماṇاسباتي يهبان الإقرار الإلهي، فيختمان نماءَ البيت عبر القربان.

वर्चः प्राप्तिः उदे॑नमुत्त॒रं न॒याग्ने॑ घृ॒तेना॑हुत । समे॑नं॒ वर्च॑सा सृज प्र॒जया॑ च ब॒हुं कृ॑धि
لِنَيْلِ البَهَاءِ—قُدْ هٰذَا الرَّجُلَ إِلَى العُلَا، يَا أَغْنِي، حِينَ تُقَدَّمُ لَكَ السَّمْنَةُ المُصَفَّاةُ (غْهْرِتَا). أَلْحِقْهُ بِالْبَهَاءِ؛ وَاجْعَلْهُ كَثِيرَ النَّسْلِ وَوَافِرَ الخَيْرِ.

इन्द्रे॒मं प्र॑त॒रं कृ॑धि सजा॒ताना॑मसद् व॒शी। रा॒यस्पोषे॑ण॒ सं सृ॑ज जी॒वात॑वे ज॒रसे॑ नय
يَا إِنْدْرَا، اجْعَلْ هٰذَا الرَّجُلَ أَرْفَعَ شَأْنًا؛ وَلْيَكُنْ سَيِّدًا بَيْنَ أَقْرَانِهِ. وَاصِلْهُ بِالثَّرْوَةِ وَالنَّمَاءِ؛ وَسُقْهُ لِلْحَيَاةِ، وَسُقْهُ إِلَى الشَّيْخُوخَةِ.

यस्य॑ कृ॒ण्मो ह॒विर्गृ॒हे तम॑ग्ने वर्धया॒ त्वम्। तस्मै॒ सोमो॒ अधि॑ ब्रवद॒यं च॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑
مَنْ نُقِيمُ القُرْبَانَ (هَفِس) فِي بَيْتِهِ—إِيَّاهُ زِدْهُ وَنَمِّهِ، يَا أَغْنِي. لَهُ تَكَلَّمَ سُومَا بِالرِّضَا، وَهٰذَا بْرَهْمَنَسْبَتِي أَيْضًا.
