Atharva Veda 15.18.3: Kanda 15, Anuvaka 2, Sukta 18, Mantra 3

Sukta 18

योऽस्य॒ दक्षि॑णः॒ कर्णो॒ऽयं सो अ॒ग्निर्योऽस्य स॒व्यः कर्णो॒ऽयं स पव॑मानः

yó ’sya dákṣiṇaḥ kárṇo ’yáṃ sá agnír yó ’sya savyáḥ kárṇo ’yáṃ sá pavamā́naḥ

Which is his right ear—this is Agni; and which is his left ear—this is Pavamāna.

ما كانَ أذنَهُ اليُمنى—فهذا هو «أغني»؛ وما كانَ أذنَهُ اليُسرى—فهذا هو «بافامانا».
