स यदुदी॑चीं॒ दिश॒मनु॒ व्यच॑ल॒द् सोमो॒ राजा॑ भू॒त्वानु॒व्यऽचलत् सप्त॒र्षिभि॑र्हु॒त आहु॑तिमन्ना॒दीं कृ॒त्वा
sá yád udī́cīṃ díśam ánu ví acalat sómo rā́jā bhūtvā́nu ví ’calat saptár̥ṣibhir hutá āhútiṃ ’nnādī́ṃ kṛtvā́
When he moved forth following the northern quarter, Soma, having become King, moved forth thereafter, having—by the Seven Ṛṣis—been offered, and having made the oblation a food-eater.
حين مضى متقدّمًا على أثر الجهة الشمالية، صار سوما ملكًا، ثم مضى بعد ذلك، وقد قُدِّمَت له القُربانُ على يد السبع رِشيّات (Ṛṣis)، وجعل الأُضحية (āhuti) آكلةً للطعام.
