Seven yoke the one-wheeled car; one Horse bears it, of seven names. The wheel, three-naved, unaging, never slack, whereon these all the worlds are set and stand—of that God. This is the offence against the wrathful One: whoso thus a knowing Brahman wrongs. Up, make him tremble, O Rohita; waste him away: upon the Brahman-hurter loose back the nooses.
Rishi: Rohita/Āditya hymn tradition (anukramaṇī-dependent).
Devata: Rohita / Solar Time-Wheel
Chandas: Mixed; Triṣṭubh-like with refrain.
Primary: raudra
Secondary: bhayankara
