كَاṇḍa 11 من الأثرفافيدا كتابٌ «براهمانيّ» مكثّف تُصاغ فيه السيادةُ المقدّسة عبر الطعام (أَنَّا/براهمَودانا)، والنَّفَس (برانا)، والنذر/الالتزام المنضبط (فراتا)، والبقيّة المُقدَّسة (أُتشيشْتا)، والكلام المقدّس (فاج). وتتعامل أناشيده مع هذه كلّها بوصفها قوى كونية تُقيم الحياة والخصب والنظام الاجتماعي والنصر، متجاوزةً تعاويذ البيت إلى تأمّلٍ لاهوتيّ وطقسيّ صريح. وإلى جانب موادّ قرابين الطعام الكهنوتية، تُبرز أناشيدُ البرانا المشهورة النَّفَسَ حاكماً وحامياً، واهباً للقوّة، وأساساً لنجاح الطقس.

Because it contains extended prāṇa hymns that treat breath not merely as physiology but as a sovereign cosmic power that grants life, strength, fertility, and ritual success.
Brahmaudana refers to priestly, consecrated food connected with offering and distribution; the hymns present food (anna) as a sacred support of sacrifice and a source of prosperity and victory.
Ucchiṣṭa is the sanctified remnant left from ritual consumption/offerings; Kāṇḍa 11 praises it as a potent residue carrying protective and fecund power that sustains continuity of sacred order.
