Transliteration

śulkaṃ strīdhanamaśulkastrīdhanāyāstatpramāṇamādhivedanikamanurūpāṃ ca vṛttiṃ dattvā bahvīrapi vindeta

Translation

بعد أن يدفع مهر الزواج (śulka) ويؤمّن مال المرأة (strīdhana)—أو، في حالة المرأة التي لا śulka/strīdhana لها، يدفع مقدارًا مماثلًا بوصفه adhivedanika—وبعد أن يوفّر لها نفقةً تناسب منزلتها، يجوز له أن يتخذ حتى عدة زوجات.
