मन्द्रस्य रूपं विविदुर्मनीषिणः श्येनो यदन्धो अभरत्परावतः । तं मर्जयन्त सुवृधं नदीष्वाँ उशन्तमंशुं परियन्तमृग्मियम् ॥
Transliteration
mandrásya rūpáṃ vívidur manīṣíṇaḥ śyénो yád ándho ábharat parāvátaḥ | táṃ márjayanta su-vṛ́dhaṃ nadī́ṣv ā́ uśántam aṃśúṃ paríyantam ṛ́gmiyam ||
Translation
智者已识得那欢悦者（曼陀罗者）的形相——当雄鹰自遥远彼岸携来苏摩（Soma）之精髓（andhas）。人们在诸河中净炼他，使其善增盛；那最可欲的光芒（aṃśu）环行流转，堪受颂歌，契合真理之韵律。
