这首简短的阿耆尼赞歌沉思火在“母体”之中隐秘的诞生——先被层层包覆而潜藏，继而以分明的形相显现。诗中称颂阿耆尼光耀而能苏生的力量，能使族群兴盛、福祉增长；并唤起他如光线/火焰般的灵动嬉戏，随风与灰烬而行，磨砺其诸力以赴行动。

Mantra 1
अभ्यवस्थाः प्र जायन्ते प्र वव्रेर्वव्रिश्चिकेत । उपस्थे मातुर्वि चष्टे ॥
诸包覆之境相继出生；由遮蔽之中，隐秘者觉知；在母亲的怀抱里，他以分明之形被看见。
Mantra 2
जुहुरे वि चितयन्तोऽनिमिषं नृम्णं पान्ति । आ दृळ्हां पुरं विविशुः ॥
他们献祭并洞察；他们守护那不瞬之英勇威力；他们已进入坚固的堡垒。
Mantra 3
आ श्वैत्रेयस्य जन्तवो द्युमद्वर्धन्त कृष्टयः । निष्कग्रीवो बृहदुक्थ एना मध्वा न वाजयुः ॥
向着Śvaitreya（施瓦伊特雷耶），众民与耕作之族在光辉的威力中增长；那佩金项圈者，具广大颂辞——凭此他如蜜而行，作为求丰盈者。

प्रियं दुग्धं न काम्यमजामि जाम्योः सचा । घर्मो न वाजजठरोऽदब्धः शश्वतो दभः ॥
如珍爱的乳汁，甘美可欲；他在同族诸力的亲密相依中诞生。又如Gharma（热祭之器/热饮），他是丰盈之腹——不受欺罔，在永恒中不衰不败。

क्रीळन्नो रश्म आ भुवः सं भस्मना वायुना वेविदानः । ता अस्य सन्धृषजो न तिग्माः सुसंशिता वक्ष्यो वक्षणेस्थाः ॥
嬉戏着的啊，光线，你已到来——与灰烬相和，与风相随，洞知一切；他的诸力如锋利的突击者，磨砺精良，安立于承载之处。
