这首颂歌赞美阿耆尼(火神)为光辉灿然、如天界般的光明;他循正道而行,如黎明的恋人般唤醒祭祀。诗中呈现阿耆尼为众人同心所召请的神力,开启通往兴盛与护佑之门,并赐予对太阳世界(svar,天光/天界)的观见。此颂歌旨在内外点燃阿耆尼,使他承载供品,并成就一切所求。
Mantra 1
शुक्रः शुशुक्वाँ उषो न जारः पप्रा समीची दिवो न ज्योतिः ॥
光辉灿然,炽烈燃起——如黎明(Uṣas)之恋人——他充满那正行之道,宛如天界之光。
Mantra 2
परि प्रजातः क्रत्वा बभूथ भुवो देवानां पिता पुत्रः सन् ॥
由意志之力(krátu)四方生出,你遂成为诸神之父而仍为其子——作为其生成与存在之所依。
Mantra 3
वेधा अदृप्तो अग्निर्विजानन्नूधर्न गोनां स्वाद्मा पितूनाम् ॥
阿耆尼(Agni),立法安置者(vedhā),不为所挫,明辨洞察;他知晓祖灵之甘美的滋养——如同母牛之乳房,涌出乳汁。
Mantra 4
जने न शेव आहूर्यः सन्मध्ये निषत्तो रण्वो दुरोणे ॥
在人间如慈惠之友,堪称可呼之者;他安坐于中央——在内里的居所中,令人欣悦。
Mantra 5
पुत्रो न जातो रण्वो दुरोणे वाजी न प्रीतो विशो वि तारीत् ॥
如子而生,在居所中可喜;如欢欣的胜者、得丰盈之力者,他使诸族越渡——引领存在的众多部分,超越其限界。
Mantra 6
विशो यदह्वे नृभिः सनीळा अग्निर्देवत्वा विश्वान्यश्याः ॥
当众族之力与人众同声呼唤、同居一舍之时,阿耆尼(Agni)以神性之威能,遍至而成就,并带来一切圆满。
Mantra 7
नकिष्ट एता व्रता मिनन्ति नृभ्यो यदेभ्यः श्रुष्टिं चकर्थ ॥
无人能损减你这些誓法(vrata);因为你已为人之诸力造就了顺从的聆听与正当的应答。
Mantra 8
तत्तु ते दंसो यदहन्त्समानैर्नृभिर्यद्युक्तो विवे रपांसि ॥
此实为你的威能(daṃsa):你与同等的人力相合,击破诸障碍者;又被系轭于行事之中,你洞察并分判诸般纷乱。
Mantra 9
उषो न जारो विभावोस्रः संज्ञातरूपश्चिकेतदस्मै ॥
如黎明之恋者,光辉者、炽焰之火;以其形相为人所识,他为此人(求道者)唤醒觉知。
Mantra 10
त्मना वहन्तो दुरो व्यृण्वन्नवन्त विश्वे स्वर्दृशीके ॥
以自我之内力承载(供献与威能),洞开诸门;一切得见太阳世界者(诸力),皆扶持并养育(求道者)。
It praises Agni as a brilliant, rightly-moving divine fire who makes the sacrifice succeed, carries offerings to the gods, and brings prosperity and inner illumination.
Dawn signals awakening and renewal; calling Agni Dawn’s lover highlights his intimate role in kindling light, beginning the rite, and stirring life and consciousness into activity.
On the ritual level it means removing obstacles so offerings and blessings can flow; inwardly it suggests opening the gates of perception toward svar—clear, luminous understanding.
