त्वं हि मानुषे जनेऽग्ने सुप्रीत इध्यसे । स्रुचस्त्वा यन्त्यानुषक्सुजात सर्पिरासुते ॥
Transliteration
tvaṁ hí mā́nuṣe jáne’gne suprī́ta idhyáse | srúcaḥ tvā yanty ānuṣák sujāta sárpir āsuté ||
Translation
Vì quả thật, hỡi Agni, Ngài được nhóm lên giữa loài người, với lòng hoan hỷ thuận nhận. Những muôi tế tự lần lượt đến với Ngài, hỡi Đấng thiện sinh, mang theo bơ tinh luyện (sarpis) được rưới dâng—làm dưỡng chất cho ngọn lửa của ý chí.
