त्वं हि मानुषे जनेऽग्ने सुप्रीत इध्यसे । स्रुचस्त्वा यन्त्यानुषक्सुजात सर्पिरासुते ॥
Transliteration
tvaṁ hí mā́nuṣe jáne’gne suprī́ta idhyáse | srúcaḥ tvā yanty ānuṣák sujāta sárpir āsuté ||
Translation
क्योंकि हे अग्ने, मनुष्य-जन में तुम ही सुप्रीत (प्रसन्न) होकर प्रज्वलित होते हो। हे सुजात, स्रुचः (हविर्लडले) अनुक्रम से तुम्हारे पास आती हैं; घृत (सर्पिः) उँडेला जाता है—इच्छा-शक्ति की ज्वाला के लिए पोषण।
