Sukta 9.96
त्वया हि नः पितरः सोम पूर्वे कर्माणि चक्रुः पवमान धीराः । वन्वन्नवातः परिधीँरपोर्णु वीरेभिरश्वैर्मघवा भवा नः ॥
tváyā hí naḥ pitáraḥ soma pū́rve kármāṇi cakrúḥ pavamāna dhī́rāḥ | vánvann ávātāḥ paridhī́m̐r apórṇu vī́rebhir áśvair maghávā bhava naḥ ||
تیرے ذریعے، اے سوم، ہمارے قدیم باپ، دانا، کام انجام دیتے تھے۔ جیت کر، ہم سے گھیرنے والی رکاوٹیں ہٹا دو، اے ناقابل مزاحمت؛ بہادروں اور گھوڑوں کے ساتھ، ہمارے لیے وسعت دینے والا بن جاؤ - تاکہ روح کا سفر بلا رکاوٹ آگے بڑھ سکے۔
