Sukta 8.40
पूर्वीष्ट इन्द्रोपमातयः पूर्वीरुत प्रशस्तयः सूनो हिन्वस्य हरिवः । वस्वो वीरस्यापृचो या नु साधन्त नो धियो नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
pūrvī́ṣṭa indrópa-mātayaḥ pūrvī́r utá práśastayaḥ sū́no hinvásya harivaḥ | vásvo vīrásy ā́pṛco yā́ nu sā́dhanta no dhíyo nábhantām anyaké samé ||
اے اندر، تیری بہت سی قدیم مددگاریاں ہیں۔ اے طاقت کے بیٹے، اے سنہری گھوڑوں والے، تیری بہت سی تعریفیں بھی ہیں۔ بہادر کے خزانے کے یہ رابطے جو اب ہماری الهام بخش سوچوں کو پورا کرتے ہیں۔ دوسرے اسی میدان میں بکھیر دیے جائیں۔
