Sukta 4.3
कद्धिष्ण्यासु वृधसानो अग्ने कद्वाताय प्रतवसे शुभंये । परिज्मने नासत्याय क्षे ब्रवः कदग्ने रुद्राय नृघ्ने ॥
kád dhiṣṇyā́su vṛdhasānáḥ agne kád vātā́ya prá-tavase śubhaṃyé | pári-jmane nā́satyāya kṣé brávaḥ kád agne rudrā́ya nṛ-ghné ||
اے اگنی، مقدس مقاموں میں بڑھتے ہوئے تم کیا کلمہ کہو گے، وات سے، آگے بڑھنے والے، بھلائی کرنے والے سے کیا؟ دور تک پھیلنے والے ناستیوں سے کیا، ہمارے گھر کے لیے کیا کہو گے؟ کیا، اے اگنی، رودر سے جو دشمنوں کو مارتا ہے؟
