मित्रं हुवे पूतदक्षं वरुणं च रिशादसम् । धियं घृताचीं साधन्ता ॥
mítraṃ húve pūtá-dakṣaṃ váruṇaṃ ca riśā́dasam | dhíyaṃ ghṛtā́cīṃ sā́dhantā ||
I call Mitra of the clarified and stainless power of right action, and Varuṇa the destroyer of harm; may they accomplish in us the thought-movement that flows with the luminous ghee—clear, straight, and effective for the soul’s work.
