ब्र॒ह्माण॑स्त्वा व॒यं यु॒जा सो॑म॒पामि॑न्द्र सो॒मिनः॑ । सु॒ताव॑न्तो हवामहे
ہم برہمن، تجھے جوڑتے ہوئے، اے اندر، سوما پینے والے، سوما رکھنے والے، پینے کی رسموں سے آراستہ، تجھے پکارتے ہیں۔

इन्द्र॒मिद् गा॒थिनो॑ बृ॒हदिन्द्र॑म॒र्केभि॑र॒र्किणः॑ । इन्द्रं॒ वाणी॑रनूषत
اندھر کو - ہاں اندر کو - گاتھا گانے والے، بلند، ستوت کرتے ہیں، اندر کو ستوت بنانے والے اپنے ستوتوں کے ساتھ، اندر کو آوازوں نے مناسب طور پر ستوت کیا۔

इन्द्र॒ इद्धर्योः॒ सचा॒ संमि॑श्ल॒ आ व॑चो॒युजा॑ । इन्द्रो॑ व॒ज्री हि॑र॒ण्ययः॑
اندھر یقیناً، دو سرخ گھوڑوں کے ساتھ، قریب جڑا ہوا، یہاں آتا ہے، ہماری بات سے جڑا ہوا، اندر بجر دھاری، سنہری چمکدار۔

इन्द्रो॑ दी॒र्घाय॒ चक्ष॑स॒ आ सूर्यं॑ रोहयद् दि॒वि। वि गोभि॒रद्रि॑मैरयत्
اندھر نے طویل بینائی کے لیے سورج کو آسمان میں چڑھایا اور گائوں کے ساتھ پتھر کو الگ کیا۔
To bring Indra to the rite, have him drink the pressed Soma, and secure his favor so the sacrificers gain strength, prosperity, and victory.
Barhis marks the prepared divine seat (presence), and Soma is the offering that delights and empowers Indra—together they make the invitation ritually complete.
