Sukta 1.39
स्थिरा वः सन्त्वायुधा पराणुदे वीळू उत प्रतिष्कभे । युष्माकमस्तु तविषी पनीयसी मा मर्त्यस्य मायिनः ॥
sthirā́ vaḥ sántv ā́yudhā parāṇúde vīḷū́ utá pratiṣká bhe | yuṣmā́kam astu táviṣī panī́yasī mā́ mártyasya māyínaḥ ||
Nawa'y matatag ang inyong mga sandata, para sa pagtataboy at para sa pagpigil sa matitigas na umaatake. Nawa'y ang inyong lakas ay sa amin, na pinakahihiling, upang walang mortal na may dayandaling isipan ang makapanaig sa amin.
