manasā niścitātmānas tyaktvā sarvapriyāpriyam || kāṅkṣante bahavaḥ kecit kenacid vinihanyate ||

คนจำนวนมากตั้งจิตมั่นคง ละทั้งสิ่งที่ชอบและไม่ชอบแล้ว ก็ยังปรารถนาผลอยู่; บางคนถูกขัดขวางด้วยเหตุใดเหตุหนึ่งหรือโดยผู้ใดผู้หนึ่ง
