पृष्टोऽसौ ब्राह्मणो भद्रे क्व भवान् त्वमिहागतः ॥ स सर्वं कथयामास यथावृत्तं दृढव्रतः ॥
pṛṣṭo 'sau brāhmaṇo bhadre kva bhavāṃs tvam ihāgataḥ || sa sarvaṃ kathayāmāsa yathāvṛttaṃ dṛḍha-vrataḥ ||
พราหมณ์ผู้นั้นถูกถามว่า “โอ้ท่านผู้เจริญ ท่านมาจากที่ใดจึงมาถึงที่นี่?” แล้วเขา—ผู้มั่นคงในปณิธาน—ได้เล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดตามที่เกิดขึ้นจริง
