To her—fire-hued, blazing with austerity; radiant (vairocanī), delighted in the fruits of actions—I take refuge in Durgā the Goddess; she utterly destroys darkness. The gods generated divine Speech; the many-formed creatures speak her. May that Speech, a cow milking out for us sweet nourishment and vigor, come to us well-praised.
