Sukta 9.97
अभी नो अर्ष दिव्या वसून्यभि विश्वा पार्थिवा पूयमानः । अभि येन द्रविणमश्नवामाभ्यार्षेयं जमदग्निवन्नः ॥
abhī́ nó arṣa divyā́ vásūny abhí víśvā pārthívā pūyámānaḥ | abhí yéna dráviṇam aśnávāmā́bhy ārṣéyaṃ jamadagní-ván naḥ ||
ขอท่านจงไหลมาสู่เรา พร้อมทรัพย์สมบัติแห่งสวรรค์; และพร้อมความอุดมทั้งปวงแห่งแผ่นดิน โอ้ผู้ชำระให้บริสุทธิ์ (ปวะมานะ). ขอท่านจงไหลมาด้วยสิ่งนั้นซึ่งทำให้เราบรรลุแก่นแท้แห่งทรัพย์อันเป็นผลกำไร; และขอท่านจงไหลมาสู่เรา พร้อมมรดกของฤๅษีผู้เห็นธรรม—ดุจสายสกุลของชะมทัคนี (Jamadagni)—เพื่อให้ความเป็นอยู่ของเราสืบรับพลังแห่งดลใจ.
