Transliteration

mádhvaḥ sū́daṃ pavasva vásva útsaṃ vīráṃ ca na ā́ pavasvā bhágaṃ ca | svadásv índrāya pávamāna indo rayíṃ ca na ā́ pavasvā samudrā́t ||

Translation

จงชำระเพื่อเรา ‘น้ำคั้นอันหวาน’ (mádhu) บ่อเกิดแห่งทรัพย์สมบัติ; จงชำระเพื่อเราเรี่ยวแรงวีรบุรุษ และภคะ (Bhaga) ผู้แจกจ่ายความผาสุกด้วย. โอ อินทุ (Indu) ผู้กำลังชำระ จงหวานเพื่ออินทร (Indra); และจากห้วงสมุทรอันลึก จงชำระเพื่อเรา ‘รายิ’ (rayi)—ความอุดมเต็มเปี่ยมแห่งภาวะ—ด้วยเถิด.
