विष्टम्भो दिवो धरुणः पृथिव्या विश्वा उत क्षितयो हस्ते अस्य । असत्त उत्सो गृणते नियुत्वान्मध्वो अंशुः पवत इन्द्रियाय ॥

Transliteration

viṣṭámbho divó dharúṇaḥ pṛthivyā́ víśvā uta kṣitáyo háste asyá | ásat te útsó gṛṇaté niyútvān mádhvo aṃśúḥ pavate indriyā́ya ||

Translation

เขาคือเสาค้ำแห่งฟ้า คือฐานรองแห่งแผ่นดิน; โลกทั้งปวงที่ตั้งถิ่นฐานอยู่ล้วนอยู่ในมือของเขา บ่อน้ำพุของเขาถูกตั้งไว้เพื่อผู้สรรเสริญ ผูกเทียมด้วยกำลังทั้งหลาย; ลำแสงอันหวานดุจน้ำผึ้งไหลริน เพื่อฤทธิ์เดชของอินทระ (Indra)—มุ่งสู่ความเป็นใหญ่แห่งชัยชนะ
