eṣā yayau paramād antar adreḥ | kūcit satīr ūrve gā viveda | divo na vidyút stanáyanty abhráiḥ | somasya te pavata indra dhārā ||

Translation

ธาราแห่งโสมะนี้ได้มาจากที่สูงสุด แล้วแทรกเข้าไปสู่หัวใจของศิลา ครั้นเป็นผู้แสวงหา ก็ได้ค้นพบโคทั้งหลาย (แสงแห่งการรู้แจ้ง) ในถ้ำอันกว้างใหญ่ ดุจสายฟ้าแห่งสวรรค์ที่คำรามท่ามกลางหมู่เมฆ โอ้ อินทรา (Indra) ธาราโสมะของท่านย่อมไหลบ่าในคราวชำระให้บริสุทธิ์
