सहस्रणीथः शतधारो अद्भुत इन्द्रायेन्दुः पवते काम्यं मधु । जयन्क्षेत्रमभ्यर्षा जयन्नप उरुं नो गातुं कृणु सोम मीढ्वः ॥
sahasranī́thaḥ śatádhāro ádbhuta índrāyénduḥ pavate kā́myaṃ mádhu | jáyan kṣétram abhy àrṣā jáyann ápa urúṃ no gātúṃ kṛṇu soma mī́ḍhvaḥ ||
ผู้มีการนำพานับพัน ผู้มีธารานับร้อย อัศจรรย์ยิ่ง—อินทุ (Indu) ถูกชำระเพื่ออินทรา เป็นน้ำผึ้งแห่งความรื่นรมย์ที่จิตปรารถนา. จงไหลบ่าทับทุ่งนาอย่างผู้พิชิต; จงพิชิตสายน้ำ แล้วทำทางอันกว้างให้แก่เรา โสมเอ๋ย ผู้ประทานพรอันอุดมผล.
