Sukta 9.83
पवित्रं ते विततं ब्रह्मणस्पते प्रभुर्गात्राणि पर्येषि विश्वतः । अतप्ततनूर्न तदामो अश्नुते शृतास इद्वहन्तस्तत्समाशत ॥
pavitrám te vítataṃ brahmaṇaspate prabhúr gā́trāṇi páryeṣi viśvátāḥ | átaptatanūr ná tád ā́mo aśnute śṛtā́sa íd váhantas tát samā́śata ||
โอ พรหมณัสปติ (Brahmaṇaspati, เจ้าแห่งพระวาจา) เครื่องกรองของท่าน—ปวิตระ (pavitra)—ถูกขึงกว้างไกล; ท่านเป็นผู้เป็นใหญ่ (prabhu) แห่งการงานทั้งปวง โอบล้อมอวัยวะแห่งภาวะอยู่ทุกทิศ. สิ่งที่ยังดิบ ยังไม่ผ่านความร้อนแห่งการหลอม ไม่อาจถึงสภาวะนั้นได้; มีแต่สิ่งที่สุกงอมและเตรียมพร้อมแล้วเท่านั้นที่แบกรับได้ และบรรลุถึงโดยสมบูรณ์.
