Sukta 9.69
सिन्धोरिव प्रवणे निम्न आशवो वृषच्युता मदासो गातुमाशत । शं नो निवेशे द्विपदे चतुष्पदेऽस्मे वाजाः सोम तिष्ठन्तु कृष्टयः ॥
síndhor-iva pravaṇé nímna āśávo vṛ́ṣa-cyutā mádāso gātúm āśata | śáṃ no nivēśé dvi-padé catúṣ-padé ’smé vājā́ḥ soma tiṣṭhantu kṛ́ṣṭayaḥ ||
ดุจสายน้ำแห่งแม่น้ำที่พุ่งลงตามลาดสู่ที่ลุ่ม ความปีติอันรวดเร็วซึ่ง “พญาวัว” หลั่งริน ได้พบหนทางของตนแล้ว. ขอความสันติแก่ที่พำนักของเรา แก่ผู้มีสองเท้าและสี่เท้า; ในหมู่เรา โอ โสมะ (Soma) ขอความอุดมแห่งพลังตั้งมั่น และหมู่ชนทั้งหลายจงสถิตมั่นคง.
