agné pavasva svápā asmē várcaḥ su-vī́ryam | dádhad rayím máyi póṣam ||
Translation
โอ้ อัคนี (Agni) จงชำระตนให้บริสุทธิ์เถิด จงกระทำกิจอันสมบูรณ์เพื่อเรา จงสถาปนาพลังอันรุ่งเรืองและวีรภาพอันประเสริฐไว้ในเรา และจงวางทรัพย์ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ (rayi) ไว้ในข้าพเจ้า ให้เกิดความงอกงามแห่งความอุดม (poṣa)
