परि सोम ऋतं बृहदाशुः पवित्रे अर्षति । विघ्नन्रक्षांसि देवयुः ॥
Transliteration
pári sóma ṛtáṃ bṛhád āśúḥ pavítre arṣati | vighnán rákṣāṃsi devayúḥ ||
Translation
โสมะ (Soma) อันรวดเร็ว ไหลเวียนรอบสัจธรรมอันกว้างใหญ่ (ṛtáṃ bṛhát) ผ่านเครื่องกรองชำระ (pavitra) พลางทำลายพลังแห่งการกีดขวางและเหล่าผู้พิทักษ์อันมืดมน—เพราะเขาเป็นผู้แสวงหาเทพ (devayú).
