शिशुं जज्ञानं हरिं मृजन्ति पवित्रे सोमं देवेभ्य इन्दुम् ॥
Transliteration
śíśuṃ jajñānáṃ hárim mṛjanti pavítre sómaṃ devébhya índum ||
Translation
เขาทั้งหลายชำระในเครื่องกรอง (pavitra) ทารกที่เพิ่งเกิด ผู้มีสีแดงปนน้ำตาล—โสมะ หยดอันสุกใส (indu)—เพื่อเหล่าเทพ; ความปีติอันเป็นดั่งทารกซึ่งถูกทำให้บริสุทธิ์เพื่อพลังแห่งจิตวิญญาณ.
