prá punānā́ya vedhásé sómāya váca údyatam | bhr̥tím ná bharā matíbhir jujóṣate ||
Translation
จงนำถ้อยคำที่ยกขึ้นสูงถวายแด่โสมะ (Soma) ผู้กำลังชำระตน ผู้ทรงปรีชาและทรงจัดสรร; จงหอบหิ้วมันด้วยความคิดของเรา ดุจเครื่องบูชา—ท่านจะทรงรับและทรงลิ้มรสด้วยความยินดี.
